ABOUT ME

I try to leave the planet a better place than when I entered. The more I travel the more I appreciate how much I am a product of being "The empty spirit/In vacant space." The ability to define my own limits has pushed me into loving the high and the low. Opera and nature. Ballet and the sound of surf on a lonely beach. Everything springs from this.

PHILOSOPHY

Essentially: People are interesting. In another's words: "I suppose I’m a believer in Original Sin. People are profoundly bad, but irresistibly funny." That's Joe Orton. And I think it's pretty much true. People talk about themselves in a way that reveals, often more than they intended. And the absurdity of life is best confronted by laughter. What else can you do? Weep?
