I could list all of the things that are wrong with this city and this country, but I won't, because despite all of those things, I really love it here, and I want you to come see it for yourself... and then I want to come see you... all of you.

Interests

Reading historical non-fiction as long as it's not a textbook, cooking things with fresh fruits and vegetables which are awesomely cheap and delicious here, being curious about the lives of politicians in the same way that most people are curious about Britney Spears or Paris Hilton, Running through the zoo in which I live being trailed by an ostrich, meeting other Americans in a place where Americans are rare enough that just hearing that harsh over-pronounced R sounds makes me feel like I have a ton in common with someone.
