ABOUT ME

I'm rather introverted and shy. That may be putting it mildly, since my fear of people can be at times crippling, but I endure the strangeness of it all for the beautiful, fascinating individuals I know are out there.

I SEE so much that art is perhaps the only way I can channel my perceptions. I can honestly say that there is no greater joy in my life than bringing something in my head (or in someone else's) into existence. I've spent my time immersing myself in D.C. culture, of which there is plenty, reading great literature, bearing witness to the wonders of film, and learning as much as I possibly can about the human mind.

I have two dogs that I adore, paint splatters on nearly all of my clothing, and a particular love of Asian cuisine. I am passionate, in a mostly positive way. I don't usually drink coffee but every once in a while I get in the mood for it, and I love animals too much to eat them.

Also, I'm Italian, and gesture wildly with my hands when I talk. It's usually a good idea not to keep glasses of water within arms reach of me.

PHILOSOPHY

I think my outlook on life was best stated by Camus: "Live to the point of tears."

Intereses

I am captivated by buildings and bridges. Film is the love of my life. I devour books much too quickly, and find too few people to discuss them with. Lately I've been attempting to sharpen my language skills, since I plan on taking another trip to Europe soon.
