I am ready for adventure and exploration but also for a long chat over a cup of tea. I am very energetic and love talking and learning about people and how they live their lives. And I love dancing, times infinity.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am part of the Chicago Couchsurfing group. I have hosted once, once I finally had space to and it was awesome. I've stayed with a few hosts and hope to meet more local surfers as I move to Boulder in a few weeks (August 2016)

兴趣

I am a sabre fencer and I love my team. I enjoy hiking and photography although I have just begun my endeavors in both of these. I love learning new languages and trying to find the similarities between people and admiring the differences.

I love listening to music from all over. Currently I'm really into Glass Animals, Sylvan Esso, Hindi Zahra, the Civil Wars, Baris Manco, the Fratellis, OK Go and other stuff I stumble upon.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I circumnavigated the world in 2012 and 2014, while studying anthropology and political science. It was amazing and gave more insight into myself and into the world that I could have ever imagined. I have gone canoeing on the Amazon river. I have learned songs in Twi from a little girl in a village in Ghana. I got to toboggan off the side of the Great Wall of China and I have countless other stories I would love to share with you if you host me or I have the pleasure of hosting you!

I love to cook for my hosts not only to thank them, but also because sharing a meal is one of my favorite ways to get to know someone. Beware, my Nutella cupcakes may induce a serious food coma.
