Hi, I am an American backpacker, I arrived in Melbourne this morning and did not realize that every hostel in the city of Melbourne would be completely booked. (go figure). I'm generally a good planner but that happened so I am really just looking for a place to spend the night. ( February, 13)

I have friends that have used couch surfing before and said good things.

I will be looking at share houses to move into tomorrow, so I can get out of your hair soon enough.

I will be staying in Melbourne for 2-3 months, probably doing bar work.
