I'm a chemist going into the international development field. I feel no technological implementation can be done without cultural understanding, and so I seek to travel to gain a better cultural understanding of the different areas of the world.
I'm a pretty avid traveler, having been to around 20 countries in 5 continents. I love learning culture, seeing natural beauty, and pretty much everything a basic backpacker puts on their bios haha.

I feel couch surfing to be the ultimate way to integrate into a community instead of removed hotels and somewhat removed hostels. I hope to meet new people and gain a better feel for the area by talking and living with a local.
