I'm a filmmaker and former musician so I've done a lot of couchsurfing the old-fashioned way. I can be high-class and low-maintenance at the same time. Always happy to offer my two cents but also know when to keep my mouth shut. I recently realized traveling is my favorite thing to do... so I'm hoping to do a lot more of it. Meeting people who can expand my perspective is a huge part of that.

My friends and I are headed to Europe for a Tetris tournament. We founded the Classic Tetris Championship in Portland, Oregon, so we are making our way to Copenhagen to check out the European Championship. We will also be documenting our friend Terry competing... while in Europe we are checking out Madrid and Berlin so thought we'd give this a try!

I am mainly interested in filmmaking technology, methods, and theory. Other than that i am a dabbler. I definitely enjoy games such as Scrabble, Poker, Tetris, and Chess. I also play basketball, table tennis, and do a bit of cycling.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

With music and movies I seem to enjoy the late sixties to mid nineites. Go figure. I love early prog rock. Recently I've really been into Wishbone Ash and early Scorpions records. I also love metal. Recently saw Amon Amarth and Judas Priest. Just picked up an amazing live Larry Coryell record. I am a hack guitarist so I tend to love complex guitar playing.

I guess finishing a successful documentary feature film is about as amazing as it gets for me. Nothing travel-related.
