About Me

Hi

I'm a laid back fellow but can often be found amped up about things I care a lot about. I think having an awesome time is a good thing. I'm driven, love learning, and I'm interested in making myself better. I hate that humans need to sleep. I have pretty good table manners.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling is pretty much my favorite thing. I absolutely love seeing new places and sharing experiences with cool people.

Interests

I get pretty passionate about music, ranging from electronic to doo wap to classical. After graduation I became weirdly obsessed with computer programming/web development. I play guitar, surf, snowboard.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment, one of my favorite things to listen to is Tycho (jammy, electronic, ambient ish goodness). I love jazz trios. Percussion is a big deal to me.

Guilty Pleasure: Owl City
Fav Movies (comedy): Office Space, Spinal Tap
Books: I tend to be boring a read non-fiction more than I should.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekked through the mountains in northern Vietnam with locals, climbing through misty jungle trails, terraced rice paddies, and water falls. I did this in boat shoes, which are not at all well-suited for trekking. It was incredible none-the-less.

On said trek, I waded in a water fall, walked through a field of marijuana , and harvested rice.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm happy to share any skills I've picked up so far in my life. Guitar lessons or jam sessions?

What I Can Share with Hosts

Let's exchange travel stories and get to know each other! Your first drink/coffee/meal is on me. I can lift things up to about 60kg. I could spot you at a gym. I could probably help with math homework. If you want to vent about work, I'm all ears.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bulgaria, France, Italy, Philippines, South Korea, Spain, Turkey, Viet Nam
