Hello, I am a young, curious Canadian taking time off from the stresses of full time work in the automotive sector to explore the world.

I am an easy going, sometimes quiet person who tries to enjoy the little things.

Back home I tend to enjoy nights in playing games or watching tv. But I'm always down to enjoy a night out drinking as long as beer pong, flip cup or pool at the bar are planned.

I enjoy cooking and love trying new foods from different cultures.

Still trying to figure out what I am passionate about in life, which I hope to find during my travels.

I'm looking to meet people who can show me what New Zealand is all about and what it's like to live there.

I have the yearlong working holiday visa so I'm excited that I have plenty of time to explore.

I plan on using CouchSurfing as a way to meet people who can share: places to eat, drink, places to go, stories and recommendations for the future.

In addition to Surfing, I am planning on volunteering and/or WWOOFing through sites like WorkAway. I'm looking to help out on farms as well as those in the city while meeting some awesome people.

Though the lifestyle's don't always differ dramatically, I enjoy being in real homes and talking to real people of the country as opposed to resorts and the like so I can see what day-to-day life is like around the world.

兴趣

Being Canadian, I feel obligated to say hockey first. I played for my whole childhood so I'd have to say it's the main sport I follow. Vancouver Canucks aren't doing so hot atm but we'll see if playoffs are a reality.

I play an array of video games with varying degrees of total nerd knowledge and time played (mostly CoD and LoL).

Contradictory to the gaming, I've always had a big interest in fitness and a healthy lifestyle. I've always found the constant challenge for self improvement to be addicting.

Also, coffee. That stuff is great.

I mainly listen to house music, but also enjoy most types of music (just not metal or country sorry!)

I don't watch too many movies, but some favs are: Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Inception, The Dark Knight, and Napoleon Dynamite.

Been going through the top science fiction books recently, as well as some classics (as of this writing East of Eden and Brave New World). My favourite books would be Dune, Harry Potter, The Foundation Series and HHGTTG.

April 2015 I did my first bungee in Whistler. I got hooked on the adventure travel which is what brought me to NZ. In my time here I checked off the bucket list item: skydiving!
