Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, to couchsurf, of course.
Hosts who are allowing someone the use of their space but have other time commitments are fine, but the best hosts are those who will take the time to show you around their place of residence.
Unfortunately, I am not in a living situation where I can host others at this time. Hopefully that will change in the future, however.

Interests

Traveling, obviously. I like to do almost anything when traveling, but personal favorites are dining, cultural experiences like museums and history tours, general sightseeing, and nightlife. Bonus points for anything involving water.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Dance pop, synth pop, Asian pop.
Movies: Prefer action and comedy, but I am not a huge movie person. I also like horror and thrillers.
TV: Straight drama or offbeat comedy. The really soapy dramas or the super somber modern (not period) British dramas are my favorite.
Books: Fantasy, particularly of the YA brand, and sci-fi, especially speculative/dystopic, and mysteries.
Video Games: JRPGs like Final Fantasy, action, platformers, puzzle, adventure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While white water rafting in Costa Rica, we had the opportunity to jump from a rock into the water fifteen feet below. Not much for a dedicated basejumper, but pretty exhilarating for me.
