我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I had briefly looked into couchsurfing as an option for travel before but never went any further into it. I met someone in my hostel in Singapore and he told me about this meet up for couchsurfers that night. I had previously been traveling on my own struggling to meet the right people so I thought this would be a good opportunity. That night I met lots of interesting people and loved hearing stories from hosts and from couchsurfers.

The following day the same guy from my hostel was meeting up with a host to show him around and took some of us from the hostel and met up with someone from couchsurfing. She was absolutely lovely probably in shock to see so many of us but she really went above and beyond, she came straight from work and shown us around all these secret spots around marina bay took us to the top of the MBS hotel, helped us find our way home.
Meeting great people like that and everyone else I met is why I've decided to join and hopefully host myself when I go home.

I'm new to travelling so I'm not sure what I can offer in terms if stories.
But I'm friendly, considerate, willing to help anyway I can, open to try new experiences.
And I'm good with kids and pets =) if you have a cat I'll likely never leave the house
