Hello! I'm Adam, a 27-year-old from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I worked as a Mechanical Engineer for five years before deciding to take a leap into the world of travel. Although I've spent my whole life in Canada, I use my vacations to explore different corners of the globe.

Despite my engineering background, my true passion lies in serving others and finding ways to make the world a better place. I believe that travel, when done right, provides some of the best education available if we're willing to look for it. I see my time away from work as an opportunity to learn and grow.

In my free time, I enjoy staying active, meditating, reading, learning, volunteering, and connecting deeply with friends and new people I meet. I also have a keen interest in becoming a meditation and breathwork instructor to share these effective practices with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would describe myself as having an open and conscientious personality. While I don't drink much and only smoke occasionally, I always strive to maintain a clean and respectful environment. My past roommates can attest to my tidiness and respectfulness.

I'm currently new to Couchsurfing and am eager to try it out to gain a more authentic experience during my travels. I believe that staying with locals provides a unique insight into the culture and way of life in different places, which is something I'm genuinely interested in.
