Hi, I describe myself as "an advocate for global systemic change and the creation of a world of love, peace and unity." I believe that beneath the fear and pain and confusion and conditioning (which we are all victims of in varying ways and degrees) human beings are basically good and our mission must be to draw out that goodness. I am an idealist, a visionary who believes in the possibility of a better world, a "lefty", and all the rest of it. I am trained as a social worker and a psychotherapist but am currently working (without a proper salary at the current time) for a London-based company creating software and apps for promoting health and well-being. I love meeting new people and believe that everyone has unique wisdom and a unique story to tell. Please Note: I have only just registered with Couchsurfing which is why I don't yet have any references.

I am currently working in London but am only receiving a stipend towards costs, not a proper wage, and so cannot afford to pay rent on a house. I am currently staying in a hostel which is fine for a few days but I cannot afford to stay in hostels every day for the coming month (after which I will be able to go stay with my parents over Christmas).

I am hoping that the kind couchsurfing community will be able to help me out and that I will get to meet some cool people in the process!

Musica, film e libri

Music: I have very broad tastes in music and listen to different types of music according to my mood - classical, progressive trance, rock, pop, world music, etc.

Movies: I like films that demonstrate what humans can be like at their best - not their worst. I generally find that children's films do a better job of this than most adult films!

Books: I read novels now and again - I love the classics - but I mainly read non-fiction books on a broad range of subjects related to human beings and society.

I don't know whether it's particularly amazing - I don't think that it really is - but I've been to the top of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco. It certainly gave me a sense of spaciousness.

I am a really great listener and enjoy being around people with a story to tell or a story that they need to share. I know a lot about what's out there and am passionate about helping people to connect with one another and to find the life opportunities that will enable them to thrive and to achieve their full potential.
