ABOUT ME

One of the things we most enjoy doing together is traveling! We both love adventure, meeting new people, trying new things. We often prefer going off the beaten path so we can experience things most travellers miss out on.

We have been together for 5 years, and recently decided that cramming our travels into 2-3 week timeframes doesn't work for us anymore.

We have a sweet boston terrier who we wish could come along with us in our back pack, but he is just way too heavy!

Adam: originally from Montreal, Quebec, he has some typical characteristics of people from that city - passionate, fun, impulsive, friendly, loves hockey (and most sports)

Adam is a great person to be around, his energy is contagious. He has a great sense of humour, is thoughtful, really smart, and has a great sense of adventure. He's also the type of person that is direct and says what he thinks. Which is a good thing (most of the time)!

Technically-savvy, experienced traveler, lots of great stories, amazing in the kitchen....Adam shares with me a passion to try new foods and seek out the best of everything. (usually the best food we find in the least expected places!)

Carla:
I am a creative, thoughtful individual, I love to plan, take photos, design, and learn. I love to eat (especially sweet things!), I love the outdoors and adventure, trying new things. I love music, and one of my goals before I'm 30 is to go to a concert in a foreign country. I have no rhythm, but I want to learn to shake my hips like Shakira.

I recently decided to take a leave of absence from my job as an Event Planner for a corporate financial firm. I think that there are a lot more rewarding and exciting ways to spend my time and energy during the short time I have in this world. I want to discover as many of those ways as possible!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are happy to meet up anywhere in the world with fellow CS'ers with whom we cross paths. Right now, we do not have a permanent residence that would allow us to host anyone. We plan to travel for at least the next few months.
