I am a musician and visual artist from Oklahoma. I studied Photography at John Brown University (in Arkansas) and Sound Design at the University of Edinburgh (Scotland). Since graduating from the latter, I have been traveling and have not had much of a permanent home.

I'm learning French and am keen to practice!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the main things that I love about playing music is the ready opportunity to meet people with whom can be shared philosophy, politics, religion, and personal anecdote and, however differently we might feel about any one of those ideas, we can still appreciate the beauty with which the other person expressed them. It's a wonderful opportunity to encounter and understand the perspectives of people that mightn't have otherwise easily formed a natural friendship.

I'm on couchsurfing for nearly the same reason. It's a wonderful way of connecting people from different cultures who mutually have interest in other cultures.
