Über mich

CURRENT MISSION

I am traveling through Central and South America with the intention to learn, grow, and share. I am practicing, teaching, and learning healing modalities, working with the elements, and am loving learning how to surf. I work with cacao and lead Yogic Cacao ceremonies.

ABOUT ME

I'm 25, male. I like to talk philosophy, travel, learn new things (I have a wealth of random knowledge), explore how things work. I graduated from college and decided to wander the world (just the U.S. for now) instead of getting a "job." From Missouri I've traveled to the Utah desert, Montana's big skies, lush Oregon, Lopez Island in Washington, all up and down California (event to the giant trashpile that is LA; I like nature if you didn't notice), and to Idaho for a primitive skills gathering. Last summer I traveled the Eastern half of the U.S. through WWOFing and delved deeper into energy medicine, crystal healing, became Reiki certified, and found my voice and how to speak my truth. Now I am traveling through Central and South America on a journey of healing for myself and others.

PHILOSOPHY

Only sacrifice yourself for things you believe in with your whole heart.

You are the divine, even when you're expressing your inner rascality.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been blessed to have great couches to crash on during my travels in the states, and am now looking for friendly places to stay in Central and South America.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been an official "couchsurfer" a few times on the east coast in the US, however , I'm no stranger to crashing at friend's of friend's places and know how to be a houseguest. If you'll let me I'll cook you up a pile of delicious veggies! I know how to clean up after myself. I'm quite adaptable to new and all sorts of groups of people and have had fun with many strangers, but am also content journaling, reading, or meditating alone. Last year I went from the Rainbow Gathering to staying at a friend of a friend's place in Montana with guys who were veterans turned zombie tool makers. I can get along with just about anyone who's willing to be accepting. The last house I lived in was in Portland, OR and I think the entire 3 months I lived there, there wasn't one night where we didn't have a guest crashing somewhere in the house. I love communal living!

Interessen

Walking-not speed walking but slow strolling for a long way. Cooking-experiencing the subtle nuances of 6 varietals of honey, coffee, chocolate, and beer. Crystals-I'm learning about crystal healing and the different energetics of crystals. Playing guitar. Different energy healing modalities. Philosophy, especially Zen. Sharing cacao!
