ABOUT ME

I am an undergraduate student studying at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, USA. I am pursuing an English major with a minor in Russian Studies. I hope to do some form of writing professionally after college and would love to connect my writing with my thirst for travel. When I'm not studying or writing I love to read, especially Russian literature. Other hobbies include pipe smoking, sudoku, and sports (lacrosse, basketball, and hockey are my favorites).

-Also very diverse in my music taste. Some of my favorite bands include Interpol, Kings of Leon, Kid Cudi and Modest Mouse.

-Some of my favorite books include the Kreutzer Sonata by Leo Tolstoy, The Underground Man by Fyodor Dostoevsky, The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, and Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger.

Thus far I have been out of the United States twice, with short visits in Montreal, Canada and Prague, CZ. For the entire spring semester, 2011, I will be in St. Petersburg, RU studying at St. Petersburg State University.
