Interests

I like learning history and science, especially when learning both at the same time. I also like to learn about languages, and try to speak parts of them. I like to cook, especially Italian. I do spend some of my free time either as an American Civil War or WWII Reenactor or playing drums with friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Rome, Italy, for the New Year's Day Parade with the UNK (University of Nebraska Kearney) marching band. At the end while the rest of the band was putting their instruments away the drum line kept playing and people started to gather. The director noticed this and had the rest of the band get their instruments out and we continued to play songs for the crowd. People were dancing and having fun. Another time for me was when attending the 145th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg Reenactment our group was able to participate as Union Soldiers in the Frontline for Pickett's Charge.
