Biking from North Carolina back home to Chicago

ABOUT ME

I am a PhD student in the political science department at the University of Chicago. I've been in Chicago for three years, where my fiancee and I live in a housing cooperative in Hyde Park. There are 19 of us living in the co-op, where we all share a a house, meals, and chores. When the ground in Chicago is not frozen, I tend to my community garden plot, where I grow all sorts of vegetables.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My brother and I try to take long biking trips each summer. In the past we have biked from Philadelphia to Niagara Falls and from Boston to Quebec City. This summer I will be biking from North Carolina to Chicago - which is only one leg of my brother's trip across the US!
