ABOUT ME

I always had an itch to travel. Ever since I remember I dreamed of leaving my home country and expreince life somewhere else. I left eventually during my a student exchange in Denmark. That was over four years ago and since then I never really came back. Since then I completed my degree in Copenhagen, volunteered in Bulgaria, worked for half year in India, backpacked through Thailand and Malaysia for two months.

Currently I am doing some volunteering through helpx. I help with English teaching in Indonesia to give young people here the same opportunities I had.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Never used CS before. However during my travels I realized that my experiences are much more memorable when shared with someone. Places and trips don't really matter as much as the people I've met on my way. One wise man said that great journeys shouldn't be measured in miles but in friendships made.

So I believe that through CS I will not be able to crash on someone's couch, but also share the same passion for traveling and discovering new places, exchange some stories and get to know the place more through the eyes of someone who lives there.

I love instrumental hip-hop, like Nujabes and Foreign Exchange (Connected is the best album ever made, period!)

In terms of books, I am catching up with classics that I was too dumb to appreciate when in school. Love everything written by Hunter S Thompson. And of course everything related to traveling.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hitchhiking, definitely the best experience i ever had. The feeling of unexpected adventure and sleeping where ever i ended up current day. While volunteering in Bulgaria I was hitchhiking every weekend to different place.
