ABOUT ME

I moved out to the west coast not knowing what I would find. After being here for some time I have found more than I ever imagined. I am so greatful to be alive and to have the freedom to do exactly what I want all the time. There is not enough time in this world for worries, regrets or anticipation. I am originally from the East Coast, went to college in South Carolina and moved to San Diego in 2004. Since then I have worked at a number of different companies. Recently I set myself free from the shackles of the 9 to 5 and started my own eco-friendly catering company. I love every second of my life and I hope to meet more people that would agree.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life because my life is awesome. Many people get caught up in their thoughts and are never fully present to what is going on around them. Being present is the greatest philosophy that I have ever practiced.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am very familiar with San Diego so I would be glad to recommend places to go and things to do. I would also love to meet up for a drink, coffee or run on the beach. Occasionally I might be able to have someone stay but our house already has a lot of roommates so I can't do it too often.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had many couch surfers at my old house and I have couch surfed myself. It has always been the best experience to meet new people.

Communication is the key to living a life that you love. Try looking someone in the eye when you talk to them and really convey your feelings. Also, when you listen try to really listen without thinking about what you are going to say next (make that voice in your head shut up for a second).
