HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think meeting people is as important as discovering places when it comes to traveling. People end up being as much of a window into a particular foreign location as that location itself--and by making friends with people from different places, I think we can reduce that sense of 'foreign-ness' and find both the commonalities that build travel connections, and the differences that keep pushing us to the next travel horizon.

Hm, that read like a mission statement.
