Yo! I'm Adam, I left (in September 2024) my job working on the UK space programme to make a more direct and local impact, doing what I can to help, learning about the world and the people in it.

My number one passion is to learn. I love to immerse myself in new skills, each one giving me a new way of seeing and interacting with the world, then taking those skills and teaching them to others, so if you have something to teach me, teach me!

I am always available to talk philosophy, ethics, the world, the universe, consciousness, any deep and complex unknowable question is my absolute jam.

I am pretty chill and very laid back, super positive, extroverted, confident, clean and respectful, and want to expand my understanding of the world through connections with others.

I believe strongly in being open, empathetic and proactive in seeking out new cultures, ways of life, and perspectives on life to take with me and hope I can impart some wisdom as well as I make my way through life.

I got couchsurfing after already starting to travel full time but I'd love to host whenever I'm more settled, especially since doing so much volunteering.

I plan to start my own community one day, buy some land and host people who want a chance to escape the pressure of modern life and live communally, with respect, away from exploiting people, the planet, or animals.

We must build the world we want to live in, one little revolution at a time.

Into a pretty wide range of music and arts from classical music and jazz to edm and hard techno to Mongolian Rock.

I read some fantasy, classics and a decent amount of philosophy. The Disposessed by Ursula Le Guin is so good, recently finished Man's Search For Meaning, and Things Fall Apart - both incredible, not-so-guilty pleasure for anything Brandon Sanderson and fantasy.

Favourite movies are The Matrix, Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, Portrait Of A Lady On Fire.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Built and sailed a fully bamboo raft in the Cambodian jungle with just me and a local. The sun setting on the trees, the sounds of wild animals, diving off the raft with not another soul in sight. Genuinely incredible
