I have had a huge leak in my flat which means i am taking down walls. I am now hosting again but the flat isn't totally finished yet - but more or less it fine :-)

I work Monday - Friday so have more times free at the weekends - but I can host midweek too as am free in evenings.

See how many people I can meet between here and there.

I have just returned to the UK from a few years of bumming around the world, time to start being a host more than a surfer :-)

ABOUT ME

I'm quite laid back and easy going. I'm sure we can find some common ground over a coffee (or beer i do prefer beer). I'm gay, this isn't a problem for me, but I know it may be for others.
I trained as a mental health nurse but after working in that field for many years I realised that I am not the biggest fan of hospitals and have since take a career change. And then I changed back, and then left again and then changed again haha

I love visiting new places and meeting new people. To me this includes trying new foods, local drinks and maybe putting myself in situation i feel a little uncomfortable with. It's all part of the experience

PHILOSOPHY

You are a long time dead, so enjoy life whilst it is here.

Sometimes courage is not the loud roar of a lion. Sometime courage is that little voice inside which says tomorrow i will try again.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to meet new people on my travels. Maybe I could be shown secret spots other tourists don't get to see. Maybe I can try and learn some of the local language. Maybe I could help tourists do the same here.

When i have been in a place for a while (like now) i would love to meet up with other travellers and swap stories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed and traveled with a few different people and have met some great hosts!

I would live to repay the favour by hosting people and now that I have a new place I can finally host for the first time!

兴趣

meeting new people, drinks with friends, films, music, visiting new places. I try to stay healthy with bike riding, and many failed attempts at yoga, I'm not so flexable yet but I do try.

I have done a rather intense 5 week Ashtanga yoga course which i loved, i do however lack the commitment to continue with my practise as regular as i did when i was doing the course now that the course is open.

I enjoy trying to learn new languages, my current aim is Spanish which is comical as I am living in Italy. (Well I was)

I travelled from Europe to Australia using flights of less that 4 hours, it was a long trip.

i've lived in a tent for 6 whole month. But is was a big tent

I've just finished a nursing degree so I could show you how to professionally apply a plaster?

I am more than happy to help anyone with their English. I am from the north of the UK so i do not speak the queens English, i will however be able to teach you a little but more conversation English, and how its used in everyday life.

I am also trying to learn Spanish so anyone who wants to practise with me :-)
