About Me
CURRENT MISSION
When traveling - To see a new country through the eyes of a local. To feel like I live in the place for a moment. To shift my perspective, beliefs or assumptions.
When home - To provide ambitious travelers with an inside scoop on Seattle and the surrounding islands, as well as a nice blow up bed in the heart of downtown!
ABOUT ME
Was born in Seattle, USA, but lived in Italy 4 years after college. I am currently studying CX and Innovation in Madrid, Spain. I am an absolute food fanatic. Liberal, active hiker and yogi, and soul music lover. Also just learned to Scuba Dive!
PHILOSOPHY
Ask questions and don't be afraid to make a fool of yourself for the sake of learning!
The more I travel, the less I assume.
You cannot understand a place staying in a resort. Couch surfing and home stays are the only way to do it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By offering advice, a mattress, and my company when I can!
I like to travel very modestly and relationships formed abroad are what I remember most. I realize how hard it can be to bridge the gap between tourist and local and couch surfing is a fabulous avenue!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Stayed Kilkenny, Ireland, in an abandoned mill occupied by squatting artists. Stayed with a local musician and was hooked!
Love seeing Seattle through my surfers' enthusiastic eyes!
Interests
Going to a coffee shop and spending the whole day studying languages and reading. Taco truck. Doing things that freak me out. Yoga and existentialism. Bargaining.
