Right now I'm on the road, so I'll be surfing a lot more than hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a couple of people for multiple stays/extended time (back when I had a place of my own). It was more or less unofficial. I've surfed a bit but looking to do more. I've boogie-boarded extensively...

Intereses

I really dig learning... all kinds of learning. I think this is the main thing that motivates me to travel and to get outdoors and all that jazz. I'm also really into music - listening, playing, writing - it's all therapeutic for me. I like sports too. And I'm trying to decolonize myself. Pretty standard stuff.

Música, películas y libros

I like all types of movies - except horror or disturbing stuff. Tough to name favourites but I'll just rattle off a few that come to mind: The Choir, Dear Frankie, Dead Poets Society, Prey the Devil Back to Hell, Death in Gaza, Tommy Boy/Black Sheep, Stranger Than Fiction, The Shawshank Redemption, A Few Good Men, Secondhand Lions, Freedom Riders, Aladin (even if it is incredibly orientalist), Sarah's Key, etc.

Music is probably one of my favourite things in life. And I've pirated more than I'll ever be able to listen to. But some of my favourites are Otis Redding, Ray Lamontagne, Toots & the Maytals, Bob Dylan, The Wood Brothers, 2pac, Lauryn Hill, Mississippi John Hurt, Paul Simon, The Sierra Leone Refugee Allstars, Ephriam, Aretha Franklin, Nick Drake, etc.

Right now I'm reading and really enjoying "No Impact Man" and "A Road Less Traveled". Haven't read as much as I wish I had but some of my favourites were "How Children Fail", "Of Mice and Men", "The Endurance"...
