I've couchsurfed once while stationed in Germany with the military - had a terrific group CS hangout in Dublin for St. Patrick's!

Books - Compassion, by McNeil and Nouwen - an incredible, life-altering work. TV - BBC documentaries on global challenges and future innovation esp. in developing countries. Music - Any songs old or new that make the soul feel more alive...everything from the Beatles, club songs, and ND folk choir to Yellowcard, Caedmon's Call, and drumline cadences. No country, a little rap, some R & B, big love songs, and random tunes in between.
