About Me

Hello, I'm Addie!

Knowledge lover, geek, data junkie, QS movement lover, anthropologist at heart, foodie, creative, reader, INFJ, and eventual world traveler.

I base the fullness of life I've lived by the extent and fullness of experiences I've had, and how many stories I've accumulated (from others and myself).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To explore the world, to meet people and hear about their adventures, to make friends, to gather stories, to connect with like minded people.

Interests

Cultures, languages, psychology, quantified self, table top games (mostly board games), movies, podcasts, music, reading, festivals, traditions, people, photography, hiking, pilgrimages, learning about everything I can and picking up new skills along the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Exist. When you think about it, it's pretty mind boggling that I am (as well as you) alive, conscious and living here and now!

One thing I really enjoyed that I've gotten to experiences is picnicking on a cliff in Cyprus overlooking the sunset on the sea. It was on a military base, and near some Roman ruins, and there wasn't a soul there besides my partner and I. Nature + amazing views + solitude are incredible.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learning
I love to absorb any knowledge that I have access to, because I'm fascinated by nearly everything.

Teaching/Sharing
I love to cook (and I'm not too bad at it), so I'd be totally down for preparing a meal with/for a host or a guest.

I used to be a photographer, and enjoy going out and finding interesting things to photograph.

I love being helpful, so if there's any knowledge I have that can benefit someone else, then I'm an open book.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cyprus, England, Japan, Mexico

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
