ABOUT ME

Mi nombre es María Adela Cuadrado, soy de Goya, Corrientes, una ciudad pequeña al norte de Argentina. Tengo 22 años y estudio estadistica en la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Actualmente me encuentro en Coimbra, Portugal, realizando un intercambio en la Universidade de Coimbra. Me gusta mucho viajar y quiero aprovechar esta oportunidad en Europa para conocer personas, lugares, idiomas y culturas. Me encanta aprender cosas y hablar con los demás, saber sus intereses y opiniones de diversos temas.

My name is Maria Adela Cuadrado, I was born in Goya, Corrientes, a small town situated in the north of Argentina. I'm 22 and I study statistics at the University of Buenos Aires. I am currently living in Coimbra, in Portugal, making an mobility in the University of Coimbra. I love traveling and want to take this opportunity in Europe to get to know people, places, languages ​​and cultures. I love learning things and talking with others, know their interests and opinions about various topics.

Creo que couchsurfing es una de las mejores maneras para conocer personas durante mi estadia de un semestre. Lamentablemente en Coimbra vivo en una residencia y es imposible alojar, pero me encantaría tener la oportunidad de hacerlo en Argentina y que los demás conozcan mi país.

I think couchsurfing is one of the best ways to meet people during my stay for one semester. Unfortunately in Coimbra I live in a residence and it is impossible to host people, but I would love to have the opportunity to do it in Argentina and let others know about my country.

Interests

Soy una persona tranquila pero activa, me gusta mucho leer y caminar. Disfruto de actividades como correr y practicar tenis. Me encantan las tardes al aire libre, las aprovecho para leer, escuchar música, jugar a las cartas con amigos.

I am a quiet but active person, I really like reading and walking. I enjoy activities such as running and playing tennis. I love outdoor afternoons specially in my city near the river. I enjoy them reading, listening to music, playing cards with friends and just resting.

Películas: prefiero las de drama, sobre todo si son de época, también algunas de suspenso y aventura.

Books: "Mi planta de naranja-lima" "Vamos a calentar el sol" both from a brazilian author called José Mauro de Vasconcelos. "Ensayo sobre la Ceguera" from the portuguese José Saramago. "La Casa de los Espiritus""Retrato en Sepia" de Isabel Allende from Chile.

Movies: I like the dramatic and old ones. Also some of suspense and adventure movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

No se necesitan grandes acontecimientos. Me llenan las cosas que hago en mi país, estoy en fundaciones y organizaciones enseñando, aprendiendo y compartiendo los días con personas que me enseñan algo siempre!

Great events are not needed. I love the things I do in my country, I like helping in foundations and organizations, teaching, learning and sharing the day with people who always teach me something!
