I'm 30 finished my BFA degree in Illustration last May. I'm a local artist in Tucson specializing in Face/body painting, animation, illustration, and other mediums.

I am very easy going/go with the flow kind of person but also like planning. I am very open minded and enjoy meeting new people. I am excited about my travels for the summer mostly to be able to be immersed into cultures I haven't experienced yet. I LOVE live music, art showings, galleries, cafes, dive bars, and events. I enjoy a good book and meditating but I also enjoy a good time out. I do yoga when I can and I also enjoy jogging.

I was brought up with manners. My mama taught me to pick up after myself, be polite, never over stay my welcome, help out when needed, and so on. I love to go on road trips in the states so I have experience being on the road and traveling efficiently.

Being Artsy fartsy, I also enjoy meeting artists, musicians, and writers.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I received a study abroad for the summer starting mid May-late June. I plan to travel Europe in July after the program ends.

I really love the idea of meeting people in this way because I feel like meeting the locals is probably the best way to get a better experience. I can be up for touristy things but also really interested in the local scene. I feel like couch surfing would give me that experience. I am interested in the local hangouts, art scene, music scene, and the beautiful little perks that tourists wouldn't normally get to see.

I LOVE music and tend to go through stages of genres. Some of my favorites are Bon Iver, Lykke Li, Tame Impala, Purity Ring, Fleet Foxes, Grimes, Alpine, Wavves The Walkmen, Beach House, Grizzly Bear, Arcade Fire... I can go on and on but I feel like this list has been a recent favorite.

Movies... I love comedy, independent, and animations. (not Anime)

Right now I've been reading female comedian books. My taste changes now and then.

I am a big fan of sharing music, knowledge of art, and stories. I can teach basic art skills and love learning about culture, art, and music from others. I am trying to learn how to cook... I should know by now but I don't... but I try! :P
