ABOUT ME

I am a real Dutch girl. Blond hair, blue eyes. I did a lot of things according the books but then discovered that life was not about work work work, finding a partner, buy a house, get a fancy car and have some kids. Life is what you make of it and that is a complete different story to all of us. What I need in life is, feel that I am alive and I am not lived. See the greatness of nature, feel the elements and get stunned about wildlife and all kind of creatures. If we just appreciate the world a little bit more.. 'Seeing purity is food for my soul'

PHILOSOPHY

I need this education of traveling: seeing, understanding, reading & meeting. It's an exam. I know if I past, when I am back home.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am only a 'crasher' and a traveller. When I am back, I would love to host other travelers and give them 'Home away from home'.

All kind of music. I loved to go to dance partys in Holland, Belgium, Paris, Ibiza and the dance parade in Germany, that was until... But listen to rock as well. I'll get soft harted when I hear a sound of a far-far away country while I was there and hear it back later: back in time.
I'll 'eat' books if they are interesting and well written. Movies: from romcom to Sci Fi to action and adventure.

The most bizarre thing I discovered while living on this planet is that we are tinie tiny and we don't mean much.. I was swimming next to a humpback whale in Tonga (Pacific).

When I am in a different country, atmosphere, culture, I find it interesting to know politics, family live, way of living, the normal things in normal lives. Usually I come to the understanding that we are all the same: 'we all are just people'.
