ABOUT ME

I'm a young artist living in Brussels. I love to travel and discover new places, I never travelled very very far, but I really enjoy discover kind of close and quite simple places, I mean places that are not apparently super unfamiliar or spectacular. I actually decided to avoid airplane as much as I can, so I would opt for close destination, reachable by train, bus or hitchhiking.
I love to use couchsurfing, that's actually a good way to discover a place with new eyes. And I met so lovely people with it! Some couchsurfers are really good friends now.

I have a kind of calm personality, and I prefer to spend an evening with just some people, few drinks and discussions than big parties. I am quiet easy to talk with, and love discover new things, new places, people or just way to see the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It's sometimes complicated to meet new people when don't know anybody in a new place, CS is great for that.
Otherwise I love language exchange, I hosted couchsurfers sometimes and I'd like do it again when I'll have the possibility.

I'd like to host again sometimes, I work a lot but if it comes up in quite week, it would be with pleasure! I live in a shared house with lovely flatmates, there is a nice atmosphere in the house.

Oh and, I am vegan, I love food, and I love to discover new recipes, it is also something we could share. And if you are looking for vegan options in Brussels I could recommend you places ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first really used CS when I was in Copenhagen, I went to some meetings and I met really great people.
I also did some language exchange, and I still would be really glad to help someone with french, and I would love improve my english or spanish, and at some point work on my danish again.

Different kind of thing.. Everything related to art.
I love to cook vegetal and simple food, and of course sharing a good diner with good friends :) (or new people, it works too! ;))
Music, cinema and books are also important things for me.
Biking is also a kind of hobby (yes even in Brussels!). I also love running, walking in nature, and swimming. I also lately began to learn a bit of yoga, what I really like.
And of course travelling as well ! I enjoy as much nature as discover new cities.
I also really love to learn languages, I would love to have more time for that.

Music : In a random way, I love Gainsbourg, Mitski, Brigitte Fontaine, Arthur H, Björk, Chilly Gonzales, Talking Heads, New order, Cat power, Beach House, Warpaint, Girls in Hawaii, ...

Books : I'm interested in literature, philosophy, sociology... About theory I'm currently very interested in Frederic Lordon, Judith Butler, Mona Chollet, Yves Citton and Hartmut Rosa
and concerning fiction, I'm curently in love with Sylvia Plath. I also recently loved this famous series from the italian Elena Ferrante.

Hitchhiking all around Iceland with two great friends! We met so many wonderful people on the road, and of course incredible landscapes. This island is fantastic.
