I am a Chilean interested in understanding our fascinating world and connecting with people from different countries — with a particular interest in those involved in education, academia, or related fields. That said, I genuinely enjoy meeting people from a wide range of backgrounds, and everyone is welcome.

I studied sociology earlier in life and currently work in higher education management and quality assurance. My professional interests revolve around how education systems develop, how institutions evolve, and how societies organize knowledge over time. These topics naturally connect me to history, social development, and cross-cultural perspectives, which I truly enjoy discussing.

I strongly believe that education benefits from an international outlook. For this reason, I especially appreciate meeting people who work in education, research, or learning-oriented environments — whether in formal or informal settings. At the same time, Couchsurfing has allowed me to meet travelers with very diverse profiles, and I value conversations with people from all walks of life.

Due to the demands of my work, I am not always able to travel as much as I would like. When I cannot travel, Couchsurfing becomes a meaningful way to meet people who share curiosity, thoughtful conversation, and openness to different experiences.

Essentially, all kinds of material that involve history :D, however, Sci-fi and Fantasy are not bad (I love the Lord of the Rings and Alien trilogy).

In music, I love drum 'n' bass, rock, post-rock, and some Metal (sounds harsh, but I have a warm heart ;D)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel on my bike, crossing hundreds of kilometers, lakes, rivers, and the Andes mountains twice!

Well, I must also mention that once I rafting in a small boat for 2 people with 3 more friends, and we four fell into the current, being dragged down the river!!

I can teach some Spanish and a lot of knowledge about Chilean and Latin American history. And of course, a huge quantity of crazy stories.
