Overview
About Me
I am Adelia, a 21-year-old student in the Riverside City College in the United States, originally from the Russian Federation. I am an exchange student now!
I’m an avid explorer with a deep love for discovering new places and cultures. Right now, I’m also working toward a degree in international business, blending my curiosity for the world with a strong foundation in global commerce.
My instagram: @adelchik_h
My hometown is Kazan, I grew up there and I know so much about the culture and non-stereotypical features of Russia. I am happy to tell about my travelling experiences, speak about my own culture and learn about new!
I am an open-minded, outgoing person willing to meet new people, get new experiences and enjoy life!
It would be great to share our experiences, laughter, and perhaps embark on a few exciting journeys together!🌏☀️
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I’m currently an exchange student and want to make the most of my time abroad by traveling, meeting new people, and immersing myself in different cultures. I love sharing stories, experiences, and learning from locals—it’s the best way to truly understand a place. For me, it’s not just about seeing new cities, but connecting with the people who live there.

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m a music lover who listens to everything from calm tunes to Turkish rap, but my favorite genre is indie pop.
My favourite movies: Interstellar, Harry Potter, Intern, How to lose a guy in 10 days, Pride and Prejudice
I love to read Russian and English literature. My favourite books are: gone with the wind, war and piece, pride and prejudice, persuasion.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I’ve done was going freeride skiing in the mountains of Russia. There’s nothing quite like carving your own path through untouched snow, far from the groomed trails. Surrounded by raw, wild landscapes, it felt like pure freedom. It was challenging, unpredictable, and absolutely exhilarating—a true adventure that pushed my limits and left me wanting more 💔❄️
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my travelling experiences, share my culture, also I can tell about International Business (it’s my major). Moreover, I am good at Russian literature and would be happy to share my knowledge! Also I can cook something from my traditional cuisine, if possible.
I am eager to learn about new cultures, new people, their lives and experiences!! 🌏
What I Can Share with Hosts
To the people who welcome me into their home, I can guarantee 100% cleanliness, great company, and a good sense of humor. I’d also love to stay in touch afterward. I’ve made friends from all over the world through Instagram, and we still keep in contact.
