I like meeting new people and I love to travel. Sound familiar?

I'm also a nature lover, an avid hiker, I love to swim, and do anything outdoors really.

I have lots of hobbies, most being in the realm of homesteading. Gardening, natural building, pickling, canning, fermenting...the list goes on. I like to work with my hands and also enjoy helping friends with their projects.

Some other things I really enjoy are bird watching, reading, painting and drawing, mushroom hunting, gardening, baking, hanging out with cats, playing experimental music, talking...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the people I've met through couch surfing. It's a great way to connect with folks that share similar interests, and a great resource for traveling. I've hosted a few people in the past and we had a great time conversing and strolling around town. I look forward to meeting and hosting more people in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is the best... I listen to most genres from old jazz and soul, to electronic, indie, folk, new wave, and absolutely love world music.

Too many movies to name but movie nights are a regular thing around here.

I love reading when I can find the time. Novels, classics, short stories and a lot of non fiction. I'll take a good book reccomendation anytime.

I'm a decent cook. If you want to eat well, I have some skills in that area. I especially love baking sourdough bread.
