Films of Kieslowki (most of all his last film- Red), most films made under Studio Ghibli (especially by Miyazaki and Takahata), Perks of being a wallflower, Solaris (not the George Clooney one, please), Tree of Life, Piano Teacher, Once, Memories of Murders, Chunking Express, Some films by Hrishikesh Mukherjee- especially 'Mili' & 'Khoobsurat', Lost in Translation, Trainspotting, Salaam Bombay!, The Breakfast Club, About Last Night, Sixteen Candles, Notting Hill, Pretty Woman and more. I really enjoy listening to Zbigniew Priesner, Sigur Ross, Pino Donaggio, Joe Hisaishi, most soundtracks of all the films that I like, Alexandre Desplat, Mychael Danna and a lot of obscure and sometime not so obscure but terribly embarrassing Indian mainstream music of the 80s and the 90s. Alexander Ebert and his band, The Carpenters, Francoise Hardy ... I really enjoy reading and watching Richard Dawkins speak.
