Hi there!

A short introduction to my travelling bug. I started to travel with my father when I was 6. We moved from France to Tahiti (a very small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean) loved the change, loved the cultural difference (daily sunshine, warm ocean and fresh sea food helps 😊), traveled a lot around the Pacific, and North America back there but as the song says all good things come to an end. I came back in Orleans when I was 10. I've had a break on travelling until I got my bachelor and finally travelled further during my engineering degree. At this time I spent 3 month in south East Asia and since then I make my best to travel at least 2 different countries a year.

I recently moved to the UK as I'm a great fan of the local weather and the Queen (only one of this is a lie :D). So my current plan is to make the best of this change to visit my new home country :D.

Oh and I'm really into rock climbing, mountaineering and generally outdoor sport these days.

I love to travel. My motto: Enjoy and Rise. I believe life is about finding the right balance between spending time having fun and feeding your soul with new knowledge. I like to learn from others, enrich myself with more people diversity. I assume couch surfing is about sharing, therefore I'd like to be more involved 😊.

兴趣

I can't stand in place so I'm really into sport in general. I used to do a lot of Taekwondo but I'm more into rock climbing and mountaineering these days. Obviously I also love discovering all the wonders the earth has to offer. One of the thing I try to dig further at the moment is how to be part of a more participative society and have a lighter environmental footprint.

I can't live without music. Like a lot of different styles. Some of the tracks I listen the most are probably from: The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Caravane Palace, Fakear, Tha Trickaz, Nas, Nina Simone, DJ Shadow, Oxmo Puccino, Oddisse, Jimmy Hendrix, Bob Marley, The Red Hot Chilli Pepper, Chinese Man, Mackelmore, Eels, Rone, Stromae, Franz Ferdinand. Well in the end I'm really eclectic music wise 😊.

I'd definitely like to read more... Can't do everything. I generally read either adventure books (climbing / mountaineering related) or distopy ones (huge Werber fan).

Similarly I don't watch many movies but I love sci-fi / distopy / political series. Some of those I struggle not to spent the whole night watching : Black Mirror, House of Cards, Breaking Bad, Money Heist, 3%.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My latest achievement (July 2018): I spent 5 days in the Alps climbing long rock climbing routes with some long time climber mates. During this trip we hiked for 3 days in the mountain starting at 2500m above the sea level, walked for 10 hours on a glacier using crampon and ice axe, avoiding crevaces and séracs, and finally climbed a highly exposed ridge to reach the 4102m summit of La Barre de Ecrins. EPIC.
