I'm currently re-evaluating what I want from life after working in IT for 18 years. To that end, I've taken a sabbatical from my job to write and see if I have a creative side.

All I want from life is to laugh, drink and eat. But not necessarily in that order.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent plenty of time taking advantage of other people's hospitality when backpacking around Australia as a teenager in the 80's, and have tried to do the same for others.

Interests

Travel and books primarily, which is why I want to be a travel writer. Sport is also a biggie, especially football (soccer for the uninitiated) and cricket. I also love to cook, particularly Indian and SE Asian food.

Fave music: Hendrix, Paul Weller, plus sundry jazz and blues.
Movies: Terry Gilliam's Brazil, Withnail and I, Shawshank, Laurel & Hardy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swum with dolphins, fed a baby, seen the pyramids at dawn, not sure what to pick.
