I'm travelling around the world!

I've spent the last two years saving and planning a trip around the world which includes the USA, Canada, Fiji, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Taiwan and finally Japan. So far. I have no idea how this will take hahaha!

I love being outside - hiking, climbing, watching birds and staring at the scenery - and I love trying things I've never done before and talking to new people!

Also, you may notice from the excessive exclamation marks that I am quite excitable!

Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing

My housemate and I hosted couchsurfers while we were at university and we also courchsurfed on a trip across France, I've met some wonderful people and had such a great time during all of my couchsurfing adventures I just think the whole concept is wonderful and exciting!

Meeting up with people from all across the world and inviting people into your home is an amazing thing to be able to do and I'm very excited to be a part of it.

Interessi

I love being outside and active, I like to boulder and fling myself around metal hoops hung from the ceiling and I crave being out hiking in nature as much as possible.

I also love the opposite of all those things and bring indoors, not moving, watching films or reading books. My bookcases are overflowing to the point of stupidity.

I was lucky enough to have a cinema in my home town that played a huge variety of films and shows, from black and white classics to modern blockbusters and artsy films to 1980's hits. I enjoy going to the cinema alone but company is always appreciated!

Musica, film e libri

I can't possible list all of my favourite books here and I refuse to try! I read a lot of fantasy, sci-fi and historical fiction. I keep trying to branch out into non-fiction but it isn't going great...

I have a very eclectic taste in music and I'll listen to almost everything. Some of my favourites include Glass Animals, Tool, Lau, Midlake, Sylvan Esso, Elsiane, Hozier, Fleetwood Mac...many many others. See? Eclectic!

My taste in movies is similar to my taste in music, I like a bit of everything. A good superhero movie, a good foreign film, a good animated film aimed at kids, all sorts!
