I am adventurous at heart, but not yet practiced enough!

I grew up struggling to find my place, and when I went to university, realised that adventure is clearly a big part of my personality. I've worked incredibly hard to get myself towards a position of being able to travel, but I haven't yet done anywhere near enough of it. I want to see some more of the world, but I have no idea where to start!

I've done a number of exciting things; been the drummer in a successful band, designed a race car, bought and renovated a house with my own hands, but probably biggest of all, battled with depression for many many years.

I bloody love dogs! I currently have an incredible Border Collie called Boris, and a beautiful but naughty Golden Retriever/Labrador cross called Vixen, who is breeding stock for the National Guide Dogs' Breeding Centre.

I am honest, devoted and very much up for a challenge, and I'm driven by a passion for understanding and learning.

I've just discovered how amazing skiing is, and want to try more of it.

I need to get out and see the world, meet new people and this HAS to be the best way to do it, as far as I can tell!

I've been working unbelievably hard for a few years, but now I'm nearly 30, I'm feeling an overwhelming fear of not having enough adventure whilst I'm still young. Please help me discover the world, and discover what I have to offer it.

I am a Jack of all trades when it comes to music. I like classic rock, grew up liking pop-punk, played in an indie band, raved to electronic music and danced like an idiot to funk and Motown. I can teach the drums, how to kayak, how to windsurf, and would love to be able to teach more things. I do enjoy teaching people, I just need to learn more myself!
