About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore Asia, as this is my first time ever in the region.

ABOUT ME

Basically an open-minded person filled with curiosity, improvising, passion, care and love.
It's really hard to say exactly, it all depends on the moment who we are, it all depends on our surroundings who we are - a constant reflection on our micro & macro world.
A philanthropic person who sometimes is just superfine to be alone for days or weeks.

Lets say omnivorous on a life scale: a bit of a journalist, a bit of a PR man, sometimes a festival organizer, sometimes an English teacher - but also once on a Caribbean island I used to work in a bakery for a month. Beside these I had plenty of lovely experiences as a bicycle courier, stage manager, driver, deckhand during an Atlantic sail-cross, bellboy, radio reporter, barman, party organizer - just to mention some my Mr. Wolf menu ;)

I enjoy meeting new people, to get to know new places and new cultures.
I used to be a conversationalist, indeed, nowadays more likely appreciate intimate silence. It's maybe the age? who knows..

PHILOSOPHY

No matter what happens, even a smile can turn the Universe up-side-down.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Used to be a host in my hometown at the other pioneer couch community (HospitalityClub) back in those days and and during the years of my travels I always found somehow a friend's friend's friends' to stay at - so actually I never had the chance to get to know anyone in CS Community - until now.
I am happy to share my knowledge and experience of my travels in case we have the chance to meet.

Interests

being a Gemini means a bit of hyperactivity in mind and in body.
as of this I love to try and do almost any kind of sport activities, cycling, swimming, kite surf, etc. and when it comes to slow down, supercharges me some meditation and any sort of body art form.
am willing to learn everything, nowadays getting interested in dance forms, do you have any knowledge to teach me? If so, tell me!

spending time in the kitchen is charges the body, while wandering around timeless times in the forests supercharges not just my body but my mind & the soul <3

Music, Movies, and Books

just to mention a few of the tons of amazing vibes:
ella fitzgerald, django reinhardt, erykah badu, nitin sawhney, hocus pocus, c2c, asa, fat freddy"s drop, st. germain, imogen heap, lamb, johnny cash, m.i.a, miles davis, ojos de brujo, tom waits.
but a wide spectrum of electronic music as well as punkrock or traditional world music.

movies: Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Adaptation, Tarantino pieces; just to mention a few. but as with the music, no space to mention amazing pieces.

omnivorous, any beats can turn me into a crazy lovely dancer. there's a chance that I used to be a shaman back in those days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

in 2013 I hitchhiked a sailboat in Cape Town and crossed the Atlantic, did 5600 nmiles in 41 days, ended up in Martinique. from there a 1,5 month later left with another hitch all the way to Panama - adding another 4000nmiles to my books.
e p i c.

a miraculous & adventurous vibes, never been so long so connected to the nature - never been so far from everyone, including myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to experience, to observe, to understand..and ask again, to maybe having a better understanding.

the best I can do is to share all those beautiful & sometimes grumpy moments I had or I heard someone had. to make a better version of us, there, on that moment.
my short life experience is that I always ended up to meet with simple / simply extraordinary / unbelievable
beautiful souls. this stories I give forward, I am always having a relating story and an important conclusion to share.

sharing & learning changes everything.
