Overview
About Me
I recently quit my job to travel. I don't particularly like plans, I'm definitely in the "walk around and see what's happening" crowd. I get a lot of inspiration from word of mouth, and there's a bit of fun in not knowing what the hell you're doing. I'm maybe a bit shy at times, more of an introvert, but I am curious about people, so it gets me talking.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I quit my job to explore the world, and want to meet some nice people and explore some beautiful places. A big part of travel for me is connecting with the locals, finding what it's like to actually live there, what their concerns are in the day-to-day, how they view their country and culture. I believe couchsurfing will give an opportunity to make such connections and to hear such stories.
Interests
The more connected to nature, the better. I love hiking, reading fiction, people watching, doing yoga and garden variety having a good time meeting new people. But best of all I like trying new things, so if it's not an interest of mine, tell me about it and it may become one!

Music, Movies, and Books
Most often listening to rock music. Some favourites are Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Cream, The Black Keys, on and on. Mostly read fiction. Some of my favourites are 1984, Catch 22 and To The Lighthouse. Talk to me about books and we could go on for hours.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did a three day horse tour in Kyrgystan. It was beautiful and I think I fell a little bit in love with my horse.
Teach, Learn, Share
I was a software engineer for the last 5 years of my life. So I can teach you some programming. I am a certified yoga instructor, so that's cool. I have only begun surfing but LOVE it, so any help learning will be absolutely wonderful and I will be thankful forever and ever.
What I Can Share with Hosts
