I am a molecular biologist living in Heidelberg, Germany for three years and in love with the beautiful and serene town. I, in general, like to be in nature and am always up for a hike through a forest or a walk along a river. My new found hobby is to learn to play the flute which was a gift from a friend. And the most important thing: FOOD. I am always open to visiting a new kitchen or a cafe!

I like the concept of Couch surfing. You can meet strangers from any part of the world and who have lived a different life and gone through experiences may be similar or very much different from yours. There's a lot to learn, share and receive, whether it be small moments with someone or a lifetime of friendship.

Music, Movies, and Books

My interests in books have changed over time but I just finished reading The Name of The Rose-Umberto Eco and I very much liked it.
I listen to almost any kind of music except pop. Although I have a few pop songs in my current playlist. I also like to visit bars or cafes with live music from local bands.
My all-time favorite Hindi movie is 'Rang de Basanti'. And my current favorite Hollywood movie is 'Spotlight'. I have new grown interest in French cinema and I often look for English translations of the comic ones. Oh and Birdman.
