Overview
About Me
I am a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Alberta, Canada. I work on preventing grizzly bears from getting killed on railway tracks in Banff National Park. I previously worked on conserving elephants, tigers and 22 other mammals in the Western Ghats biodiversity hotspot, India.
I like all kinds of wildlife, but particularly large mammals. You can learn more about me at http://adityagangadharan.com.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well I have never couchsurfed before, but it seems like a great idea to not stay at a stuffy hotel - so why not try it, is what I say. I like meeting people both in my own field of study as well as completely unrelated areas.
