Overview
About Me
Hi, my name is Aditya.
I am from the beautiful town of Amarkantak. The residence of the goddess Narmada. I have been living here all my life and I run a hotel and travel business here.
I have hopped onto the Couchsurfing from a friend who recommended this platform to me. Just the idea that I could get in touch with people visiting my place and that I could show them around my beautiful town fascinated me.
Since I am new here, I kindly request fellow couchsurfers to be easy on me and help me learn from this platform.
I heartily welcome you here. Hope to see you soon and have a good time together.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The genuine reason to be on this platform is to help people understand the significance of Amarkantak which usually most travellers who are travelling to India miss. I would love to make people realise the significance of Amarkantak and Ma Narmada which isn't to be missed out on for any traveller who wishes to travel India.
Secondly, I believe in the concept of Athithi Devo Bhava (that guest is god). If I could be of help to someone who could learn about the rich culture of our place I couldn't be happier that Ma Narmada offered me the chance.
Interests
I am passionate about driving cars. I have almost travelled the entire length and breadth of our beautiful nation on my car. I learnt driving an auto in 2012 and took it up as my profession in 2013 and there has been no stopping since then.
Today, I own several cars and love driving all over the place.
Until now (2023 Jan) I have completed as many as 9 lakh kilometres driving cars in India.
I wish to travel outside of India in my car someday which is my current bucket list.

Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I can share my travel experiences across India.
I can describe the rich history of Amarkantak, the place of origin of the river Ma Narmada and so also the entire Madhya Pradesh to my host.
Learn:
I love learning new languages. I have learnt speaking Bengali close to 80% since the last 5 years. I am also in the process of learning English. As my English isn't great, I request you to kindly be easy on me and also help me learn the same (Please note that my friend has filled up this profile for me).
I wouldn't mind learning music. Especially singing if someone could offer me help there.
New experiences especially meeting people and learning from their cultures, traditions, and travel expeditions.
Share:
A comfortable space to rest.
Take you around the town if I am free at the time.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My hotel space where my host can stay and rest peacefully.
Based on my availability, a guided tour through Amarkantak and a detailed description of the history of entire Madhya Pradesh.
