to continually create and share
I love to create and generally prefer using my hands for performing tasks (laundry, making books, cooking). I have a strong appreciation of the forms and shapes most things take--an interest in the visual. Art and art history are very dear to me, and hope that the roots of my travels concern the experience of art through museums, galleries and the people I meet. The outdoors are equally important and I like adapting to the physical world surrounding me and becoming spatially familiar with the places I visit. I love the woods, hiking and activities involving nature. Sometimes I'll get caught up in my thoughts but am typically sociable and friendly.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host and surf
My experiences so far have all been quite positive.
Reading, creating, yoga, hiking, walking and cycling. I invest much time towards art--creating, learning art history, experiencing art and visiting museums as much as I possibly can. My favorite mediums include painting, drawing, bookmaking and ceramics. Cooking is among my favorite activities as well, though I am not that well-versed. Tea ceremonies interest me and I aim to uphold a ritual of having tea with those who visit my apartment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Levitating through caverns in a blue hole and gliding through a labyrinth of stairwelled reefs.
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy making things so I can share the skills to cultivate an interest in creating such as through bookmaking (an assortment of different binding techniques), sewing, painting, drawing, ceramics, cooking creme brulee, basic photoshopping, tea brewing.
I can share my views and understandings of the visual arts--perhaps we can visit a gallery or museum?
I can share some skills of skiing, scuba diving (need a buddy?), yoga.
