Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My house in Fort Mahon is able to welcome 2 or eventually more ... only when I'm there. Love to welcome you but need to anticipate as we live an active life.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A couple in Canada; US, plan much more of this as I regularly travel, however since I travel in non commercial terms, often people will invite me in their homes ... a wonderful way to know others and learn about the area I'm visiting. Did this in the Tahitian islands 3 months in 2010 ...

Music, Movies, and Books
Being bi-cultural French/US I am quite a reader but cannot say "well read" since I have such a wealth of material to read. I love books that make me think, provide tools for thinking, psychology books for better understanding myself & others and of course novels, including historical novels that combine both life experience and history.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As my children say " what have you not done?" and I reply, so much that I don't have enough of a life time.
2010 - sailed across the Pacific and lived 3 months in the Tahitian islands
2011 - crossed Canada in a canoe
2012 - rebuilding a house
2013 - taking two donkeys on the Pacific Crest Trail ...
2014-15 met my partner and built a new house
2016 - 2017 bought a boat and sailed 11000 nautical miles
Plan to travel around the world helping locals develop international funding schemes for basic quality of living: safe water, biological farming, schooling, health practices & medical care, end of life solutions ... etc.
Teach, Learn, Share
My life is made of travels, working in many types of environments from initially cooking, then building contracting to arts, to multimedia creations, to IT specializations for over 30 years ... I still teach people to make bread, pizza, and other practical things but most of all my intent is to be in such a place that others can feel free to be themselves and grow, thus self realisation as a human through the multi-dimentions of health, spirit and love.
