Overview
About Me
Hi! We're an italo-palestinian couple sharing a couchsurfing profile. Sometimes we travel together, and sometimes it's just one of us. Currently living somewhere in between the UK, Italy, France and Morocco.
Adnan is a proud househusband, who has been traveling and supporting his wife during her research journeys. Adnan studied music and have worked in everything from content editing to logistics to managing life transitions (my own and others') — but these days, I’m focusing more on learning, growing, and soaking in the world.
Livia is a post-doctoral researcher, she has lived for years in between Jordan and Lebanon and now works on (and in) Morocco. She speaks fluently "shami" Arabic and is now learning Darrija (moroccan Arabic).
We've both lived in flat-shares for several years. Living collectively and building community is a generally a preference and a way of life. We like to share knowledge, music and food (and sometimes some wine or coffee or kefir!), while we think of alternative ways of shaping the future.
We're both chill and open-minded, we like our environment to be clean - but we also like to clean in eco-friendly and alternative ways ;) We're respectful of people’s time, space, and boundaries. We value silence, and always privilege meaningful conversations over superficial small talk.
I (Adnan) make great hummus, and generally cook Palestinian food that tastes even better when shared with others. Livia has been cooking less and working more, but lately she enjoys introducing people to movement, particularly arm balances and acroyoga. She's generally more on the sporty side, but we both love hiking, climbing and generally being outside.
Oh! We also love animals of all sorts. You might be surprised at how much time we can spend observing animals going on with their daily lives. If you have a cat or a dog (or a python! a tarantula!) it's always a plus for us.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I love connecting with real people, not just ticking off places on a map. I believe that hospitality and cultural exchange are powerful ways to build understanding — especially in a world that can feel disconnected.
I experienced this kind of connection back home in Palestine, where I hosted and was hosted even before I had an account. Now that life has shifted and I’m able to travel more — often with my wife or close friends — Couchsurfing feels like the most meaningful way to keep those human moments alive while discovering new places

I am into political books most of the times, mixed with a bit of economy.
