I live with a writer and I'm lucky enough to partake in her library. Recent favorites include Emily Gould's Friendship, Heidi Julavit's The Vanishers, and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Americanah. When all else fails the Morrissey Pandora station is sure to lift your spirits. Not to concede to the cliche “but there’s too many to list” but it’s true. A few of my favorites off the top of my head: Badlands, L’ aaventura, 3 Women, Paris is Burning, Jules et Jim, and Eraserhead.
