HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I use to host couchsurfers when I lived in London and met some great people.
Since moving back to Australia, I've only been able to meet couchsurfers to hang out.

Music: I'm pretty eclectic and random with my music tastes..My ipod consists of Hip Hop (the likes of Talib Kweli, The Roots, N*E*R*D, Common, Lupe Fiasco), Trance (Armin Van Buuren, Gareth Emery, Above and Beyond), cheesy pop (Best of Britney haha, N'sync and BSB, Kylie), rock (Lenny kravitz, Linkin Park) and other random stuff (Harry Connick Jnr) and then some.

Books: The Troy Game, X-men, Harry Potter, Women of the Otherworld, Buffy, The Riftwar Saga

TV Shows: Buffy, Scrubs, Gossip Girl, Heroes and Dance shows!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In my travels I have seen and experienced so much amazing things. But there have been fleeting moments of perfection, amazement and clarity that make me feel 100% happiness and bliss. They are:

** In Chiang Mai, Thailand - I was into my 2nd day of a 3 day Hill Tribe Trek. After 5 hours of trekking over mountains and accross a river, we rode elephants into the village we were going to stay in for the night. At one point of the elephant ride, we came out of the jungle and into a open glade where the air was still except for the hundreds of dragonflies buzzing around. You could hear the sloshing of water from the river down one side of the glade, where 3 guys were bamboo rafting downstream; and the elephants footsteps as they walked on through. It was like a scene from a movie. Absolutely gorgeous.

** Swakop sand dunes, Namibia - I did a sunset quad biking ride in the Sand dunes. Halfway through the ride, we stopped ontop of a dune and watched the Sunset. It was absolutely amazing and beautiful. If the rest of the trip had been terrible, this one evening would have made the trip totally worthwhile. One of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. Also the quad biking was so much fun. I giggled like a little school girl throughout the whole ride.

** Signal Hill, Cape Town - On my last night in CT, went to Signal Hill with my friends to watch the sunset. From that point you see Table Mountain, Lion's Head and the city lights sprawled below. The clouds roll over the mountain and cascade down the side like a table cloth, the sun is dropping into the ocean, the light reflects off the clouds making them look like pink cotten candy and the city lights twinkle at you. Once the sun has set and it is dark..flickers of light appear from the bushes and the fireflies come out to play. Seeing fireflies for the first time in my life, it was just so touching it made me want to cry.

DANCE DANCE DANCE, looking to take dance classes everywhere i go. Preferably Hip hop or dancehall, but am open to most other styles. I´ve been taking classes for 5 years now, and am slowly improving from my initial monkey dance skills.
